The IIC runs regular citizenship workshops to assist aspiring citizens in their application process. Staff members pre-screen all applicants to ensure they are eligible; referrals for legal advice are made if necessary.

Workshops offer the following:

• IIC staff and trained volunteers assist applicants through the entire citizenship application process
• Immigration photos are taken
• Photocopy facilities are made available so applicants may have a copy of their application for future reference
• Pre-labeled and certified mail envelopes are provided, along with information on US history and US Citizenship & Immigration Services testing procedures
