Immigration Legal Services staff and volunteer attorneys provide free consultations on all issues arising under the Immigration and Nationality Act, and free or low fee individual case representation for a wide array of applications and petitions to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of State.
Our services are confidential and are available in English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole.
Some of the case types with which we can help are:
- Family-based visa petitions
- Marriage-based visa petitions and green card applications
- Consular Processing Assistance
- Fiancé(e) visa petitions
- Temporary Protected Status (TPS) initial applications and renewal
- Employment authorization applications
- Renewal of permanent residence
- Applications to remove conditions on permanent residence, including waiver of the joint filing requirement
- Green card applications for asylees and refugees
- Petitions for asylee relatives
Immigration Legal Services also offers community outreach and education, including publishing legal updates and Q&As in the local Irish and other media, and trainings and speaking engagements at other area non-profits and social services agencies.
